Praise For Swing Machine Golf!
So far we’ve
received more than a thousand testimonials from Swing
Machine Golf purchasers in 57 countries around the world,
and more continue to arrive daily! Here’s a representative
sample of the wonderful success stories these people
are sending us about their experiences with Swing Machine
Golf.
The
book was good. The DVDs are better. I doubt that the
author will get many queries from those who watch the
set, as his presentation is very clear and doable. Criticisms
that humans can’t duplicate the swing of Iron
Byron are laid to rest as Wilson demonstrates his swing
alongside the World’s only perfect ball striker.
Those
that can’t see the similarities need to look again,
because they are obvious. It wouldn’t take long
for anyone to find him or herself repeating that swing,
providing he or she followed the instruction as presented.
Those
that are patient and master the steps one at a time
before moving on to the next, will find themselves hitting
the ball longer than ever with no apparent effort. In
a short time, they will be duplicating the three things
that make Iron Byron work, a circular body rotation
with an unrestricted hinge and a constant forward tilt.
From
the interview with George Manning (the creator of Iron
Byron) to Wilson’s treatise on how to practice,
this DVD is a gem. Interesting and attention keeping,
it is worth a buy.
Swing
Machine Golf became the most valuable instruction book
in my golf library. Within a short week the DVDs have
become the most valuable instruction videos I have purchased.
The dust cover of the book says the book is “The
fastest way to a consistent swing.” If that was
true, it is no longer. The DVDs have replaced it.

After
one month of constantly watching and practicing the methods
on the DVDs, here is my review:
Unlike
other instructors, Paul Wilson has managed to break
the barrier of teaching "feeling" in golf
by using swing positions. I have read many instructional
golf books and have taken many golf lessons, only to
fall short in the end. They didn't last -- in a few
weeks I was back in the rut. Why? Because I was never
given any pointers on how to measure my swing movements
henceforth.
Here
is where Paul's teachings excel; he enhances the learning
experiences by introducing checks, i.e. knees touch
together during follow through, club has to be parallel
etc. These positions are attainable by an average individual
during your practice. Since they are repeatable and
you can check these positions in front of the mirror,
good golf swing habits are gradually formed, replacing
the bad ones. I believe practice produces mediocre results,
but great practice, usually associated with instant
feedback, produces great results.
I
have to admit, as great as the DVDs are, I still think
the book is excellent. Hence, I was happy to spend time
going through the materials from the book first before
the DVDs came out. The DVDs actually enhance my learning
experience. There are items, i.e. how to produce torque
and the two related drills to cure slice, that I believe
are better illustrated in the DVDs. Hence, the book
and DVDs complement each other even though they cover
the same materials.
I
think the prices for the book and DVDs are a bargain.
I no longer spend money on other training devices or
lessons. Hence, in the long term, it pays off handsomely.
Nowadays, every time I watch those paid programs on
the Golf Channel, I just laugh. I say to myself, "if
only these people knew about Swing Machine Golf."
Thanks
again for the great book and DVDs. I look forward to
the short game DVDs.

I
just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to say just how
satisfied I am with the new Swing Machine Golf DVDs. You
were right, they really were worth the wait! And there
was me thinking the book was great...! Since I've received the
DVDs I haven't stopped watching them.
Two
things struck me immediately, one, it really is amazing
how similar your swing is to Iron Byron and two, your
backswing. The hardest part for me to copy has been
the backswing as I have always taken the club too far
to the inside. I noticed on the DVDs just how "loose"
even your backswing is! It really is a joy to watch!
Although
2005 was a great year for me from a golfing point of
view, I really want to make 2006 even better. The DVDs
are really going to help me take my game to another
level!
I
know you are probably exhausted after the long game
DVDs and contemplating a well-earned rest, however what
are your plans for a short game DVD/book and specialty
shots DVD/book? Just interested!
Anyway,
thanks again and congratulations on a wonderful method!
Best
regards,

Paul,
thank you for sending me the info on the DVDs to my
email. I immediately ordered them and sat down the night
they arrived to watch them all.
The
menus are easy to read, understand and navigate. The
menus provide a great method to go to specific areas
for review and I think I will be doing that often.
Of
course, I have the book (two years now) and the DVDs
enhance the book so much and provide the visual feedback.
The DVDs provide a means to instantly check to see what
you have done, and the common errors to watch out for
as you progress.
I
cannot express how much I love both the book AND the
DVDs. My friends who have the book are placing their
DVD orders now after seeing a few minutes of my set.
Please include me on the list for any future products
and I look forward to the short game DVDs.
Worth
the price and easily saved, since you can cancel those
magazine subscriptions and save time by skipping the
"Golf Infomercials".
Please
feel free to use this email to spread the word on your
great products.

Paul,
I've always started my downswing by yanking down as
hard as I could from the top. As a result, I've spent
the last three months nursing a case of golfer's elbow
and haven't been able to swing a club.
So
to fill in the time I've been watching your DVDs, and
have become keenly interested in the part that talks
about keeping your arms passive throughout the swing,
and starting the downswing with the hips rather than
the arms. This section in the video finally clicked
with me.
I
practiced the movement without a club for a few weeks
until my elbow started to feel better. Then I paid a
visit to the Certified Club Maker who fit me with clubs
a few years ago. At that time with my arms swing he
clocked my swing speed at between 90 and 93 mph.
I
asked him to set up the equipment again and measure
my swing speed using your method of starting the downswing
with the hips. I took several practice swings to warm
up and really focused on keeping my arms out of the
swing because I didn't want to aggravate the elbow again.
My
first real swing at the ball was very tentative as I
was still worried about the elbow. To my amazement,
that swing clocked in at about 102 mph. My elbow felt
fine so I kept on swinging. Before I finished, I was
consistently swinging at exactly 110.9 mph through the
ball.
I
increased my swing speed by about 20 mph using your
method! The amazing part is that it felt effortless.
Needless
to say, I love your video. Seeing you swing with the
swing machine has really helped this old senior immensely.
Thank you!

May
I thank you for your excellently written and illustrated
book, and now the fabulous DVD set.
I
especially appreciated the DVD no 3 and 4 which has
helped me monitor what I am doing wrong and more important
what I am doing right. It means that I can now
pinpoint accurately where my swing needs improving.
I
purchased swing machine golf (book) version spring of
last year. I had never had lessons and was really getting
very frustrated with myself especially as the "golf
bug" took hold. I struggled initially to get out
of the bad swing habits I already had programmed into
the subconscious. But through perseverance (having
an initial handicap of 23) I managed to start getting
more consistently straightish shots with a huge improvement
in club distance.
My
handicap reduced to 17 over the space of 3 months, then
disaster! I broke two ribs (Swimming accident
I hasten to add!). This set me back terribly.
I was not able to play for 5 weeks and the recuperation
messed up my golf swing. Not being able to rotate
my torso really made it impossible to play properly
and my handicap plummeted back to 23!
Still
I have been able to improve again through just doing
your helicopter exercise and strengthening my rotation
in a nice smooth way.
Then
I discovered something which made me pretty upset with
myself. I made the fateful mistake of rushing
the initial course from the book and missed some vital
input. It was only watching the DVD that I locked
on to my main failing. I was not maintaining my
body angle throughout my swing! Why? Because I
was one of those taught initially to keep the head "still".
I was shanking and slicing all over the place.
Then
I watched the DVDs (4 times now) and I was able to identify
my problem. I had initially missed the bit about moving
the head correctly!!!! Since then I have made some improvements
in direction control which has let me start paring and
birding a few holes. I am getting quite excited about
my game again!
My
swing is not perfect yet by any means, but it is more
fluent, loose and un-rushed and the results more pleasing.
My aim is to get my handicap to single figures by the
end of 2006 but I think it may happen sooner!! My scores
a year ago were always 100+, you know 126, 115, 120
etc. But what about now after your course? I have
recently hit scores of 88, 94, ... and can you believe
it 82!!!!!!!!!!!!
My
friends have stopped asking me "You still reading
that "machine" book? Why don't you get proper
lessons?” Now its "Can I borrow your book
sometime?" I just reply "INVEST IN YOUR
OWN COPY! MINE ISN'T LEAVING MY SIGHT!"
Thanks
again Paul, I hope that one day I can shake your hand
and buy you a drink!

I won longest drive at a recent event (327 yards!)
Just
a note to tell you that I am totally amazed at the DVDs,
and they have already helped me and I haven't left my
family room!
I
find that with you in front of me, you are being my
own personal teacher (rather than the book). I found
the book good but this just helps to clarify the lessons
even more. The book is my quick reference. I will be
working with the DVDs all summer.
Thanks
for taking the time to do the DVDs.

I
have struggled with my game for years and have bought
countless books, videos, and gadgets with no success.
I recently attended a nationally recognized golf school
with a student ratio of 2 to one. My specific goal in
attending was to learn why I top the ball so often and
how to correct the problem. At the end of the three
day school, my topping problem still plagued me and
I left with no idea of what I needed to do to improve
my game. The only thing I got was a bag tag and a nice
video of my swing. They spelled my name wrong on the
tag and who wants a video of a terrible swing.
Then
I got an email saying your DVD instruction was available.
I began to watch and practice the drills the day it
arrived. Since that time I have watched the entire instructional
program several times and continue to work at the drills.
The DVDs are incredibly effective at conveying your
instruction.
It
is still winter in northern Ohio so I haven’t
been on the course, but the swing I am developing is
so easy, free, and feels so good that I know I will
be shooting better than ever before. The few times I
have been able to get to an indoor driving range has
confirmed that I’m on the right track. I am making
better and more consist contact while swinging in a
way that seems almost effortless.
The
range has a target hanging from the top of the dome
at a distance of 60 yards. Using my driver, I recently
hit that target 6 times out of approximately 30 shots
and just missed it numerous times with no topped shots
and only one that was very far off line. The most incredible
thing is I immediately knew why it was off line and
what needed to be corrected on the next shot. Thank
you, Thank you, Thank you.
My
wife also thanks you because I can stop buying all the
books, videos, and gadgets. Her only complaint is that
you didn’t make these DVDs earlier before I wasted
all that money on the golf schools.
Now
I have only one more video to buy and that’s your
Short Game DVD. Please put me on your list for your
first shipment when it becomes available. I have every
confidence that it will be of the same high quality
as before. I am eagerly looking forward to working on
that aspect of my game with your clear and effective
instruction.
I
was about to give up on golf. Thank you for helping
to rekindle my enthusiasm for a game I enjoy so much.

I
am having a wonderful time progressing through the
book and the video (and the email tips). After 30
years searching for a simple model to enable me to
understand the key components of the golf swing AND
to apply that knowledge to my own game, I have found
what appears to be a fundamentally sound answer -
maybe even THE answer.
So,
many, many thanks for this fabulous resource, which
is a joy to experience and has restored my faith in
insightful instruction, whatever the field.

I
can't tell you how much I enjoy the DVDs. The
information is well instructed and I have no problem
understanding the positions during the swing you talk
about and show.
It's winter up here in the Northeast, and I have committed
myself to a fitness program and to
work on my swing during this "off season".
Your DVD is the lone staple of my swing work.
When
the weather warms up enough, I hit the range and try
out what I have been working on around the house and
my office, and the results have been promising. Further,
I let the Pro (a friend) at the driving range borrow
the book, and we have had many discussions about the
content. He often comes out and tells me how "smooth"
my swing looks as of late. I would lend him the DVDs
but I find myself watching them for about a half an
hour prior to work during the week. Fantastic stuff.
I
finally feel like I have something to continually come
back to and work on, rather than the "swing thought
du jour" of the past!
Cheers,

I
just wanted to write and say how much I have enjoyed your
book and DVD series and I am slowly seeing the fruits
of your instruction in my own game. I used to have a terrible
shank problem but since studying your method I have not
had one (long may that continue!!). My ball striking is
much better and getting more consistent all the time.
Congratulations it really is a very well presented book
and DVD.
Yours
sincerely
